Meet our Speaker:
Vitor is a robotics engineer and an educator with 20+ years of experience working on challenging technology solutions internationally. His portfolio includes enterprise software for insurance, the stock exchange market, the internet of things (IoT) applied to the renewable energies sector, industrial automation, autonomous vehicles and humanoid robotics research, as well as participation in international robotics competitions. Vitor has also worked with advanced visualisation projects applying3D development to building Information modelling (BIM), holographic content and extended reality (XR).
His professional experience was developed over decades of pragmatic work assisting major financial institutions, research centres, government agencies and universities with transitioning into new paradigms supported by the latest technologies available.
Vitor’s latest enterprise in industry advanced to the R&D manager position at Watkins Steel Group in early 2021 where he was responsible for coordinating the research efforts of the R&D department, liaising with leading research organisations in QLD and applying the latest technology available to support Holovision and Watkins Steel operations.
Vitor os currently focusing his efforts in developing a non-for-profit organisation founded back in 2017, which runs programs to support children, youth at risk, people with disabilities and mental health issues in Asia-Pacific. It’s called Greengold Association for Human Development.
