OVERVIEW

This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of information and communications technology (ICT) roles who have established specialised skills in a technical ICT function.

Individuals in these roles carry out moderately complex tasks in specialist fields, working independently, as part of a team or leading deliverables with others. They may apply their skills across a wide range of industries, business functions and departments, or as a business owner (sole trader/contractor).

The skills required for these roles may include, but are not restricted to:

  • business analysis: designing and implementing technical requirements, quality assurance processes and contingency plans for businesses

This qualification provides students with the skills and knowledge in a technical area of Information Technology, Business Analyses. At Mindroom Innovation, students will learn more about the business analytics industry in an entry-level position been able to analyse, identify and coordinate relevant ICT business solutions to meet given organisational goals and with the skills and knowledge to evaluate ethical and security issues and to competently operate the processes associated with data acquisition and dissemination.  At Mindroom Innovation, students will work on their projects since day one. If the student does not have a project, the trainer will provide a specific project to be developed during the course.

COURSE DURATION

The ICT50220 – Diploma of Information Technology Business Analyses Specialisation will be delivered in 92 academic weeks and with 27 holiday weeks, total of 119 weeks of enrolment.

 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

✔ International Students must be at least 18 years of age at the time of course commencement
✔ Domestic students must be at least 15 years of age.
✔ International Students need to show an English test results equivalent to IELTS 5.5
✔ All students require a laptop computer for in-class studies
✔ Have a sound knowledge of using a computer. This will be assessed during initial interviews and throughout the enrolment process, and if an issue is identified it will be raised with Mindroom Innovation management prior to course commencement.
✔ Able to use MS office or similar software
✔ Use any browser
✔ As part of our enrolment process for this course, students will be asked to demonstrate sufficient skills, knowledge and experience to meet the mentioned above requirements.

RECOGNITION: CREDIT TRANSFER OR RPL

Course Credit may be given either through credit transfer or through the application of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
If you have valid experience in the proposed qualification and you wish for it to be recognised, please discuss this prior to or during enrolment, as any recognition may affect your course duration and the length of your student visa.
