How does a university pathway work?
Certain universities offer vocational education and training (VET) pathways based on nationally accredited courses and qualifications. If you’ve achieved a Cert IV or higher qualification from an Australian Registered Training Provider (RTO), you’re on your way to working towards a related university degree.
What are Vocational Qualification Credit Linkages?
Credit linkages facilitate the recognition of prior learning and provide entry into specific degrees via the university pathway. This enables students to transition into the first or second year of a discipline-related undergraduate or postgraduate program with predefined credit outcomes. These credit linkage arrangements also extend to international students studying in Australia on a student visa if the qualification is CRICOS registered.
