  • In today’s digital world, your portfolio is more than a collection of work — it’s your personal brand, your first impression, and often your key to new opportunities. Whether you’re studying design, IT, business, or any creative field, knowing how to present your work professionally can make all the difference.

  • That’s exactly what this upcoming hands-on workshop is all about.
  •
  • Open to all MI students across every course, as well as prospective students, this session is designed to help you build, refine, and strengthen your digital professional presence with practical guidance and real-world demonstrations.

What This Event Is About

  • This is not a passive presentation — it’s a working session.

Led by Rebecca, Tamaya, and Felipe, you’ll move through a structured, hands-on experience where you’ll learn how to create and improve your portfolio using industry-standard platforms like Behance, Canva, GitHub, and Netronin.

You’ll not only learn the theory behind strong portfolios — you’ll actually start building yours during the session.

What You’ll Learn

Throughout the workshop, you’ll explore:

  • – How to build a professional digital portfolio from scratch
    – What makes a strong, standout portfolio (and what to avoid)
    – How to structure and present your work effectively
    – The anatomy of a strong case study
    – How to get discovered on Behance
    – Where and how to host your portfolio online
    – Canva portfolio creation techniques
    – GitHub and Hostinger setup and walkthroughs
    – How to curate your work to tell a clear professional story

By the end of the session, you’ll have practical tools and a clearer direction for showcasing your skills online.
