This time, we’re backing an inspiring women-only surf and wellbeing event. This event is created by Tamaya, an Advanced Diploma of Graphic Design student at MI. She is the creative force behind this exciting day. 🌟

Organised in partnership with Sunny Mates—a diverse group of international female surfers based on the Gold Coast—this event is all about empowering women. It’s about making meaningful connections, and catching some waves together.

📅 Date: Friday, 20th September
🕗 Time: 8:00AM – 1:30PM (and possibly later!)
📍 Location: North Kirra Beach
🎟️ Ticket Price: $100 + booking fee (includes all activities)

Sunny Mates was founded by passionate female surfers from Brazil, Spain, and Switzerland. These women all moved to the Gold Coast to chase the surf dream. What started as friendship and shared surf sessions has grown into a powerful community welcoming women from all around the world.

To create inclusive, empowering spaces for women to surf, grow, and support each other—both in and out of the water.
