COURSE DURATION
This course is delivered over 60 academic weeks, plus 18 weeks of holidays, for a total enrolment period of 78 weeks.
GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- – Must be a minimum of 18 years old when the course commences
- – Must demonstrate English proficiency. See ‘ENGLISH (COURSE ENTRY & VISA EVIDENCE)’ in tab below.
Note: A reasonable level of English is required to understand course concepts and communicate effectively.
General Requirements for All Students:
- – A personal laptop is a mandatory requirement for in-class studies
- – Proficiency in basic computer usage and software applications, including Microsoft Office or similar software
- – Proficiency in using web browsers
As part of our course enrolment process, students will undergo initial interviews and assessments to ensure they meet these requirements. Any identified issues will be addressed with Mindroom management prior to the course commencement to ensure a smooth learning experience.

The CUA60320 – Advanced Diploma of Graphic Design is for individuals with prior study or experience in graphic design. It’s designed to expand your creative and technical skills, preparing you for freelance, studio, or agency roles in the design industry.
To apply, you’ll need to:
✔️ Demonstrate strong skills in professional typography and visual communication
✔️ Create designs for both 2D and 3D applications
✔️ Develop complex publication layouts and graphics
Portfolio Submission
Applicants must submit a portfolio showcasing their design abilities. Your portfolio should demonstrate creativity, technical skill, and an understanding of design principles. Include examples such as:
1. Typography projects — show how you use type to communicate visually (e.g. posters, logos, or editorial layouts)
2. Designs across different formats — such as branding, print materials, or digital graphics for social media
3. Complex layouts or multi-page designs — magazines, brochures, or publications that highlight your attention to detail and structure
Software Requirement
An Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps license (A$30.00/month incl. GST) is required for this course.
