Course Overview

The BSB80120 – Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning) prepares graduates to lead in the field of organisational learning and capability development. This discipline sits at the heart of how modern businesses build and sustain a competitive edge. Throughout the course, students develop advanced skills in designing and executing major learning and development functions. Moreover, they learn to generate and evaluate complex ideas. They also take accountability for outcomes across teams and the broader organisation.

A key feature of this course is its practical, embedded approach to artificial intelligence. Rather than treating AI as a standalone topic, around 20% of each unit is dedicated to applied AI. Students will explore how current tools can support and enhance the specific subject matter, whether that’s strategy formation, learning design, performance development, or change leadership. The result is a qualification that builds both the advanced competencies the sector demands and a grounded, working understanding of how AI fits into each of them. This prepares graduates to lead in workplaces where technology and capability development go hand in hand.

Duration

This course runs over 80 academic weeks, with an additional 24 weeks of holidays. This brings the total enrolment period to 104 weeks. Delivery is structured as 75% face-to-face and 25% online. The course is offered on a full-time basis.
