Emilio Shared his Journey in Project Management + Photos

On the 12th of March, we wrapped up Mindroom’s first term of 2026 with a truly inspiring Project Management-focused event as part of our Student Development Lab series.

Our students gathered at Mindroom for a special workshop led by our Project Management alumnus Emilio, who returned to share insights from his professional journey. Through practical advice, real-life lessons, and honest reflections, Emilio gave students a clear and motivating look at what it really takes to grow a career in the industry.

Our students left feeling inspired to step outside their comfort zone, especially when it comes to public speaking and sharing their own ideas. Several even asked when the next workshop with Emilio will be — a great sign of how impactful the session was.

After the workshop, we headed to Burleigh to enjoy the ocean views during a relaxed Happy Hour and Networking session at the Burleigh Heads Hotel. With food and drinks kindly provided by Mindroom, it was the perfect setting for students to connect, exchange ideas, and strengthen our community.
