Learning Beyond the Classroom: Students Visit Jellurgal + Photos

This January, Diploma of Leadership & Management students, along with tutor Lisa and students from other Mindroom courses, visited Jellurgal Aboriginal Cultural Centre at Burleigh Headland.

The guided experience introduced students to Aboriginal culture, history, and connection to Country through storytelling and visits to significant sites. For many international students, it was a meaningful opportunity to deepen their understanding of Australian culture.

The visit supported learning in BSBPEF502 – Develop and Use Emotional Intelligence, encouraging reflection, empathy, and cultural awareness beyond the classroom.
