What Should I Do After Enrolling?

Set Up Access
We’ll help you log in to Moodle and get connected so you can start learning with confidence.

Attend Orientation
Meet our friendly student support team, explore the campus, and get important course information.

Get to Know Moodle
Moodle is our online learning platform where you’ll access course materials, submit assessments, and keep up with announcements.

Organise Your Student ID
At orientation, we’ll collect your details and set up your student ID (digital or printed).

As a student at MI, you’re expected to:

What Are My Visa Obligations?

You must:

  • Stay enrolled in your CRICOS course and make academic progress
  • Maintain valid OSHC (Overseas Student Health Cover)
  • Update your contact details within 7 days of any change
  • Attend classes and follow visa conditions

Can I Work While Studying?

Yes! You can work up to 48 hours per fortnight while studying, and full-time during breaks. Just make sure to balance your studies and job.

What If I Breach My Visa Conditions?

Not following visa rules — like missing class or working too many hours — can lead to visa cancellation. Stay informed, stay compliant, and ask us for help if you’re unsure!
